Begonia in a Tin

Can’t beat $4.97 for a pretty little flower like this in a tin from Trader Joe’s. The pot usually costs that much! They say these should be indoors in indirect sunlight, so our kitchen table is actually a great place. I have become very enamored of flowers in the house since having that bouquet from Comedy for a Cure – but I don’t really believe in having cut flowers all the time. This is a great solution! Bonus: not poisonous to pets!
Stay tuned for the raised garden bed I am building in the front – not sure what’s going in it yet, but it will be ready when I am!

Update: If anyone is wondering, I had to move this begonia from this north facing window – too much sun got the little thing a little crispy! They work best in indirect sunlight (apparently) and enjoy misting – not overwatering! I’m trying!
